10 Quicks Tips For Visiting Yankee Stadium

Whether it’s your first visit to Yankee Stadium or you’re a life-long fan, we’ve gathered a few helpful tips and tricks to help you enjoy your visit to its fullest. Guests are always invited to inquire with our front desk staff for additional information, local’s knowledge and insider secrets.

  1. Before purchasing your tickets, note the stadium seating diagram in the bottom left-hand corner of the stadium map. Remember that higher-numbered rows are located under the level above them which may partially obstruct your view.
  2. Once you’ve purchased your tickets, be sure to review the Yankee stadium map to find which gate provides the easiest access to your seats.
  3. Sign up for a pre-game tour to learn more about the history and culture of the team and stadium.
  4. Visit the New York Yankees Museum before or during the game. Admission is free with a valid game ticket.
  5. Save a little extra money by bringing your own snacks and sealed bottled water for the game. (Read the “Bottles and Cans” policy for specific details.)
  6. If you do plan to purchase food or merchandise while at the game, save your credit card or debit card to an Apple Pay or Google Pay account. Yankee Stadium is a cashless venue, but cash conversion stations (e.g., reverse ATM machines) are available on-site.
  7. Download the Yankee Stadium mobile app for a richer experience including immediate updates, digital tickets, personalized history and special offers.
  8. Stay up to date on the latest venue protocols. “As of 03/07/22, proof of a negative COVID-19 test or vaccination is NOT required at Yankee Stadium.”
  9. Be sure your bags follow MLB policies. As of the 2022 season, each guest is permitted to bring one MLB-compliant bag and one smaller-sized, soft-sided personal item.
  10. Even if you purchase higher-level seats, take the opportunity to walk through the lower levels of Yankee Stadium and snap a few photos. It takes about 15 minutes to walk around the stadium.
